3. Stopping foreclosure.

Sometimes you cannot make the payments on your real estate loan. The lender may try to take your property by foreclosure. You can stop the sale by filing a bankruptcy petition. This will stop the sale if done prior to the time the sale is called. You shoudl not wait until the last minute to consult with someone about this. Havign a few days to put off the sale will work best. If need by you can file a few minutes before the sale is to be called but this is risky. There may be a long line at the clerk's office and you may not get it filed in time. We can help you with this but it is best to not wait until the last minute.
